Benefits of the Lotus Position

The Lotus position helps keep the body in alignment and is a great position to meditate in. These three meditative postures are usually easier for people in Eastern cultures and can be difficult for a Westerner. Do not force yourself into the Lotus position because it is not a must for meditation. If you have trouble keeping these three postures you can also choose another position to meditate in. Some times simply sitting on a chair with your back straight can help you find alignment and make meditation easier. Practice your lotus position a little every day and gradually  in time you will get it. Hope you enjoyed this post remember to spread love and make someone’s day with an inspiring anonymous email.
